Krista Kapitan, BSc. ENV
Krista is enthusiastic about addressing environmental sustainability issues in the agri-food sector. She completed her undergraduate degree in Environmental Sciences at the University of Guelph, with a major in environmental economics and policy. During her studies she was involved in student government as well as a number of other committees. Her integrative education in resource economics, environmental sustainability, and policy gives Krista a complete understanding of environmental responsibility.
Krista is eager to work with a diverse group of stakeholders and clients to enhance her collaboration and knowledge mobilization skills to contribute to the sustainability of the agri-food sector. She is currently working towards completing her Masters degree in Economic Development and Innovation at the University of Waterloo which will allow her to further support the viability of Ontario’s rural and agricultural communities.
